The Indians were the first people to ever play lacrosse. The games the Indians played lasted for days. The goals were spread out from 500 yards to miles. The games were major events played in a huge open arena. The sticks that the Indians were wooden sticks strung traditionally. It is estimated that 100-100,000 people participated in one game. The rules were very easy to follow. They stated that the ball could not be touched by hand and their was no boundaries. The Thompson Brothers:
The four brothers, Lyle, Miles, Jerome, Jeremy Thompson. These four brothers are lived and grew up on the Onondaga Indian reserve. They have been domanating the game for the past couple years. From Miles and Lyle at Albany where Lyle broke the all time record for total points in a season;to The world games in Colorado for the Iroqouis Nationals.
